A choice between Heaven & Hell...

While crossing the street one day a networker is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in Heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

“Welcome to heaven, says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We have never had a networker around these parts, you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.

“No problem, just let me in, says the networker .

“Well, I’d like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we’ll do is have you spend one day in Hell and one in Heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.

“Really, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven, replies the networker.

“I’m sorry, but we have our rules. And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell.

The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course.

In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other networkers cheering for him. They ran up to him, everyone is shaking his hand, and reminiscing about the good times they had.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne. Also present is the Devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises to Heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

“Now it’s time to visit Heaven?

So, 24 hours pass with the networker joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in Hell and another in Heaven. Now choose your eternity.

The networker reflects for a minute, then he answers: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean Heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in Hell.

So, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he’s in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

“I don’t understand, stammers the networker. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?

The devil looks at him and smiles.

“Yesterday we were recruiting you … today you're staff!

Hmmmmmm.....how many of us have felt as if we were recruited into MLM hell? Could we even be guilty of being a recruiter? In my recent studies, I believe there are many wandering MLM hell and do not even notice it! They are ignorant to the fact that they are there. I might even humbly admit I was in MLM hell denial! Taking one for the team, gritting through my teeth and smiling anyway, faking it until I made it and all that jazz. My own eyes have been opening about MLMs across the board and I am learning day by day, what the truth is and how to lead the way for others. Have you ever found yourself in MLM hell too? I hope you can find your way out of hell. I know I am...at least I can run my business now with open eyes and exactly what to watch out for.

Here is a poem that I got today in the mail.

Be Positive

Be positive. You’ve got to be.

That has to be your thinking.

Be positive and you will grow.

If not, then you are shrinking.

Be positive about your life.

Your goals! Your hopes! Your dreams!

And life will turn around for you.

It’s not so dark, it seems.

Be positive, in working hard.

Enjoying what you do.

Be positive in building strong,

an ever changing you.

Be positive in helping others.

Notice what will stem.

Your positive will soon rub off,

and start affecting them.

Be positive and watch the changes that occur in you.

Be positive and notice, how much better you will do.

Be positive throughout your life.

Just keep it all dispersin.

You positively will, no doubt, become a better person.

While I think there are so many great things about being positive, I must agree with the leaders at Free Mentoring that speak of positive attitudes as a great thing, but only one tiny piece of the puzzle. Today's business owner needs to have a handle on how they could harness the power of the internet and brand themselves as a leader to be able to better reach out to their desired audience. There are so many different systems out there it is not even funny. You can literally get lost in all the muck out there...and who to believe? So far, better networker has been great as well as the free mentoring program. If you do not have a great deal of money to invest, I would recommend mentoring for free.

It's the start of a new week...

Sunday....the start of a new week....for me anyway. I have been studying furiously, any second I could get my hands on, about helping others succeed. It has been an interesting read. I have a new found understanding about the industry I am in and how it works. I am also coming to understand the mistakes I have made and what to do to make them right. I am excited to be in possession of this knowledge so that I may pass it along to others to help them come to better decisions in their lives. As I come in contact with those who are meant to be in contact with me, I will be better prepared to help them along their way. To success!
